Second Homes in Burgundy and the Economic Downturn

This period we are now entering will have prompted many second home owners to consider renting out their property in Burgundy instead of leaving it empty between visits.

Realistically we are all going to be affected in 2009 as the house market continues to slow and fewer families will be able to afford their usual summer holiday. There should however still be the opportunity for those who look sensibly at the possible returns to at least cover the costs of maintaining a second home, maybe even a little extra left over, and hopefully as the recession gives way to "normal living" again an income can be made. We at Morvan Home Angels are dedicated to helping people like yourselves and are happy to discuss what you will need, set up, advertising costs and potential "realistic" returns.

We do not have contracts to tie you down, we believe if we do a good job you will stay with us, and we can do as much or as little of the work as you want us to from helping with setting up, managing your bookings, arranging cleaning, gardening etc and even designing and building a website for you, taking photographs of the house and surrounding area, and placing your advertising. You will only pay us for the work we do.
