About Us

We are Maxine and Derek Brown and back in June 2004 we  started our new life in the Morvan National Park, central Burgundy. Original plans to renovate our home continued nicely however it was realized that, long term, we were going to need some form of income and the best way to do this was to trade on existing skills.

Back in the UK Maxine was Head Housekeeper for one of Birmingham’s premier hotels, this was very much a “hands on” position especially in view of Maxine’s qualifications, not only to clean to a high standard but also as a trainer.

The idea Morvan Home Angels was born and shortly afterwards the business was started.

Since the inception of Morvan Home Angels we have expanded our knowledge and experience so that we now offer a full range of services for Gîtes, including bookings management, advertising and budget planning we will even design and build you a web-site, all at competitive prices

Morvan Home Angels is a fully registered and insured company set up to carry out a variety of cleaning and other tasks that can be seen in more detail in the various sections of this site
